Taylor, We really loved your dad and enjoyed talking with him many times when our paths crossed in Hopkinsville. He loved education and worked overtime to help others in education, young and others ready to retire. Most of all, he loved you and would always share something about you when we met. We send you our love and support. Bill and Janice Harper

I went to high school with Clyde. I also worked with him when he worked at the Board of Education in the Central Office. He was always a great teacher. Both of my girls had him as a teacher. They always enjoyed his classes and thought highly of him.

I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by all.

Mr. Wallace was one of the best teachers to ever grace Christian County. He was honest and compassionate as well as driven and encouraging to his students. There are two educators who made me what I am today and Mr. Wallace was one of them. He could see the special gift in EVERY student. He built us up when we were down and celebrated with us on top of that mountain. There are no words to completely convey the impact he had every day on his students.. He possessed that “something” that made an average person extraordinary and everyone is better just by knowing him. This is a devastating loss. I’m so sorry, Taylor.

You are an angel Clyde that came into my family’s life and brought many of great laughs and was there for my time of loss. You will always be my friend and greatest motivator. I know your smile will and jokes will always be a part of my life. Love you and was my pleasure to be your caretaker for you and our special little Cricket. My prayers are still pulling for you but I know it’s not up to me but I will be selfish and want you home. Taylor loves you and have you as what’s best for you in his heart. Love always your Daisy

Clyde always offered sage advice whether solicited or not. I fondly remember his candor and his snazzy outfits too. A great member of the "old guard" in the CCPS.

Taylor i cannot express how sad I am and am still praying for a miracle. Me and your dad go waaaaay back to CCMS! I remember me and Sarah Kranz sitting in your house listening to a Voice of Democracy Speech you had written. I think you won that year! I will never forget Clyde when I interviewed for my first guidance counselor job. He winked at me and said hope you get it! I could tell story after story of working with him and being a student. Please know I love you and him. I am here if I can do anything!
