December 1st Update
Hi Everyone -
I am currently on my way back to Hopkinsville. The doctors I’ve recommended that I take that off the ventilator probably sometime tomorrow morning (not doing so would be cruel). Jennie Stuart is allowing me to be in the ICU room with Dad, due to my age and no pre-existing conditions. I’m going to try to share all of the notes and messages everyone has sent the last few days... and I’ll hold his hand the whole time. Thanks so much for your love and support the past two weeks. I will try my best to update everyone tomorrow evening. I’m going to have to quarantine at his house after being with him… At least that’s what I’m assuming. One step at a time.

Oh Taylor we are so sorry you are going through this. We will continue to lift you up in our prayers . Terry and Mary Jane Hayes
Continuing to keep Clyde, and you, in thought and prayer.
Taylor, I am so sorry to hear this. Safe travels. I can tell you have a lot of support here in your hometown.
Taylor I taught with your dad at CCMS for many years. He kept us laughing. I have so many funny stories. It’s a wonder any principal put up with us. Prayers for both of you as you make these difficult decisions
Taylor, my heart is heavy learning of your dad’s fight for his life at this time. Your dad meant the world to me back at good ole Belmont days. He literally rescued my deaf students and I at a time when no school wanted us. Clyde gladly stepped up and rolled out the red carpet for us. Those students and I felt loved and accepted, for which we are so grateful! He was a mover and a shaker, he got things done. Most importantly, he had a huge heart for the kids in his care and did all he could to give them the best. He did the same for you, Taylor, and so much more. He adores you! He is so proud to be your dad, such an honor. Please know I hold you both close in my heart and prayers. Much love, Dianne Stillwell
Taylor, this is a hard post to read. So very sorry. Of all your Dad’s amazing accomplishments, there was one that rose above the rest......YOU!! He couldn’t have been prouder of you!! I loved the way he always spoke of you with a voice of pride that is so easy to recognize. Prayers for you as you travel home - and prayers for tomorrow. Your hand will feel better than any medicine or vaccine available......you and your dad are so loved.🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Praying for you you and your dad. The Old Christian County Middle School teachers share your sorrow. We all have many Clyde memories (even some we can share). He made a huge difference in the lives of so many and made us laugh with his quick wit and fearless leadership. With love and prayers, Vickie Cotthoff
Taylor, you and Clyde are in our thoughts and prayers. Me and mama (Violet) have been blessed to have your dad and Mrs. Blanche as wonderful neighbors throughout the years. Brenda Martin sends this message” Tell Clyde that I Love him and he has always been a great friend to me, we were classmates and said they would just look at each other and start laughing”. She sends prayers to both of you. 🙏🙏
We are neighbors to Mr Clyde; we love him and Cricket. Keeping you and him in our prayers.
Taylor I’m intentionally praying for you & your precious Dad 🙏🙏 may you feel all the love surrounding you & him during this time ❤️❤️
