November 30th (9:30 pm ET) Update
Hi Everyone -
It took me a minute to write to you all tonight (this is the most emotional I've been). Dad's condition is much worse. He has a C. diff infection that is causing him to have a continuous fever (its not responding well to the antibiotics)... The doctors have also identified a bacteria called serratia that is causing issues in his lungs (on top of the damage COVID has done). His ventilator is now almost at the highest setting and he has been fully sedated to keep his heart under control. Please keep him in your prayers tonight. The nurse is going to video me in via Zoom in the morning at 8:30 am ET (at my request; not a final goodbye). I got the kennel to send a cute video of Cricket hoping that playing that may help his fight. This is the part where it gets really hard not to be able to be there in person. I will update everyone after seeing him over the iPad in the morning.

Prayers going up!
Taylor, I am so sorry to read this. Thank you for keeping us updated. Both you and your dad continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you have better news when you check with his nurses in the morning.
Taylor, oh so sorry about tonight. Will surely amp up our prayers for your Dad and you. Hopefully December will usher in some positive progress as we end this November......
Taylor, we are certainly praying more than ever for Clyde and you. So very sorry to hear this turn of events. We look forward to hearing from you in the morning. God bless you, Taylor. You have done an excellent job of directing your wishes to JSMC nurses and doctors. Thank you for keeping up the information you provide on your Dad. We love you guys. 🙏🙏🙏
Praying hard! Love you Taylor!
Clyde was a gifted educator...His impact on Christian County Public Schools was enormous! He quickly became my best friend and mentor during my tenure. You were Blessed, Taylor, to have Clyde for a father! Prayers and love sent to the entire family! Bob Lovingood
Clyde and I taught together at CCMS long before you were born. He was a good friend and kept all of us moving at a fast rate. Never a dull moment, and I remember those seven years as the best teaching years I had out of 27. He has remained one of my most thought of friends through the years.
