Thank you! Update on Dad’s Arrangements!

Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for all of the beautiful comments and messages this past week! I’m so humbled to have such wonderful people in my life! I want you all to know that I’m okay (needed to be offline for a bit to absorb everything and be with my wonderful family). This has been a tough week but I’m at peace and my heart is full from all kindness and love. We will be setting up a scholarship memorial this week with the local Rotary Club. Those of you who remember Dad from his younger years will recall how the Rotary Club used to steal and auction off the eccentrically dressed stone goose that sat on the front porch of the house I grew up in, year-after-year, to raise money for local college scholarships... Dad loved that stuff and helping to advance education in the local community. Please do not send anything... I’ll have details on the scholarship donation by Tuesday evening. Dad already has 30+ plants, 4 freezers of comport food and ice cream, and enough dried flowers in this house of antiques that if anyone drops a cigarette in a 1-mile radius, the astronauts are going to see me from the space station! 😂 I am staying in Hoptown until just after Christmas (getting tested tomorrow). We have decided not to have a funeral... I just can’t imagine putting anyone else’s parent at-risk! We will be having one BIG 🍾🎉 celebration 🔥💥 of his life this summer (details to come) when this awful pandemic is over... just the way Dad would have wanted it! Thanks again for all your love and kind thoughts! ❤️❤️❤️ Lots of love! — Taylor

Oh,Taylor I had forgotten about that goose. I remember the first time someone took it. That goose went on lots of adventures if I remember correctly. Thanks for sharing.
