March 24, 2014: Still improving
Edward is improving daily--Praise the Lord! Here are videos of him crawling on Day 9 post-IVIg and walking while pushing the kitchen stool on Day 10. We are more excited about these milestones than we were when he reached them the first time! He is able to sit up with confidence even in the slippery bathtub, which is one of the first places I noticed he was unsteady last month.
We have an appointment with Edward's HemOnc (hematology/oncology) team on Thursday, so we should have more to report after that. At this point, we understand that as Edward's cancer is stage 2A, he will most likely not need chemo, and that his treatment for the OMS (opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome) will consist of some variation of steroids and IVIg infusions anywhere from every few weeks to every few months for an undetermined period of time.

Emily, as I watch the videos you have posted and I read your words telling of Edwards improvement, my eyes fill with tears of joy! I see our Lord in action and it gives me goose bumps to think how much He has been there for Edward and the whole family. I praise His Holy Name and I give thanks to Him for hearing the prayers of folks around the world for Edward. It just proves one more time to me that Jesus cares so much for His little ones and this gives me such hope. Thank you so much for sharing the pictures and the updates, You have no idea how important all this is to us, I continue to pray daily for Edwards return to a completely healthly little boy and I know that Jesus is hearng my prayers.

Edward is one determined little boy. He will succeed and not give up in his quest to be healed. Thank you for all the updates and videos, that we can see and share in the joy of the Lords healing power on Edwards behalf. We are all blessed and comforted to see the answers to prayers being fulfilled for Edward and the family.

Vow! what a remarkable progress in Edward's movements and use of his hands and legs. As I was watching the video you sent, tears of joy welled up in my eyes. Edward is going to be a miracle child and through him; not just your family but all of us who are closely united in prayer are going to be blessed. We are already blessed to a great extent in building up our faith in God in pleading for Edward. I think this issue of Edward's health is meant for all of us to draw together much more closer to God. May God's name be glorified in all these experiences. we will continue to uplift Edward and all of you family members in our prayers. I just saw the video series. The small snapshots of each day, Your life must have seemed like a roller coaster in the dark . . . Watching Henry and his responses to what was happening to Edward must have been challenging as well. What a blessing Henry is to his brother to keep the play going and the day to day activity as normal as possible for Edward to jump back into! I praise OUR GOD for the strength, endurance, and peace that passes all understanding that he has given Edward and Henry's parents! I praise him for the people HE has sent to help and bless you during this time. I thank you from the medical side for posting his video clips so I would have a better idea what this condition looks like, and what it looks like from the parents view. As a pt, it would be pure frustration and exhaustion with the changes in vision and mobility. Edward demonstrates determination throughout and seems to find interest and joy with the help of his family.
Wonderful news! God is so good and we share in your joy for Edward's steady progress. Every day is a wondrous gift, isn't it!
So thanful to our dear heavenly Fathe for His love for Edward and all of us. Mike and I continue to keep edward and all of you in our prayers. We are so grateful that you have kept us all posted on his progress even though you have had such a heavy load to bear. We love you all.

Oh, Kameron & Emilie, I got goose bumps just reading your latest update, how wonderful for your whole family. Our children are just so precious and God is just so good that we can have nothing but praise for everything He does for us. You are on many prayer lists and shall continue to be as Edward continues his treatments to total recovery. We love you.
My heart is filled with joy and praises to God when I watched Edward's video clips . . . he's improving a lot in quite short of time. God is good all the time, and the prayers are powerful. God truly answers our prayers. Love you baby Edward!!!

We have been following Edward's progress and am amazed at his strength and determination....he is such an awesome little boy !! Continued prayers for his recovery.
