Surgery Update

What a day it has been!

To jump to the end first...Eric is out of surgery and in the neuro ICU where he will likely be for the next 24 to 48 hours. He is stable, awake, talking, and squeezing J's, Dad's, and Mom's hands. The awesome ICU team is helping Eric to manage his pain and get him comfortable. But, in true Eric fashion, his humor and sharp whit are well intact. 

It has been a long couple of days for Eric and J. They started yesterday with an early flight from Helena to Salt Lake followed by an MRI and lab testing. Surgery today lasted a little over 3 hours and now we wait for pathology studies from the removed tumor. In the meantime, the next couple of days will be focused on healing and recovery. 

We are grateful for Eric's medical team, the ability for Mom and Dad to be there with J, and for a successful surgery! Thank you to everyone that has reached out, said a prayer, or sent good wishes into the universe! Words cannot express how grateful our entire family is.
