Dr. Eric Sullivan Data Science Fund

Eric always believed that math was about more than the algebra you learned in high school or calculus you suffered through in college. Math was (and is) a living, breathing thing that can help solve evolving environmental, business, and political issues we face daily. With that mindset, Eric helped create the Carroll College Data Science program.

This program combines the fields of math, computer science, stats, and business analytics to help prepare students to solve real-world problems utilizing large data sets. This emerging (and now fully operational program) was Eric's academic initiative at Carroll. This is why it is so fitting that our family and Carroll College have established the Dr. Eric Sullivan Data Science Fund.

This fund will help extend Eric's legacy by providing financial support directly to a Data Science student at Carroll College while also helping to keep Eric's vision for educating future data scientists, statisticians, or researchers in the real-world application of math.

Because, as Eric would say...math is fun!

You can contribute to the Dr. Eric Sullivan Data Science Fund in two ways.
