A note from Alexis (Steph's twin brother).
A big thank you to everyone for the heartfelt wishes and all of the positive energy and prayers. Steph's surgery went well and she stayed strong and stable through the night. Hopefully the worst is behind us and all we have to wait for is to have the medical team ween her off the drugs so she can wake up. Thanks again and I strongly believe that your efforts were a major contribution to her success!

That's good news; more positive vibes coming your way from Denver! Here's a little message for Stephanie: Hi Steph, Kelly here, I'm LeeAnne's friend as you'll recall. I've been thinking about you a lot and here's a memory that makes me smile. I got to babysit you and Alexis when I was in high school because your parents and big sisters were going to Les Mis in Minneapolis and wouldn't be home until late. I remember pushing you and Alexi on the tire swing in the backyard and then walking around your house asking the two of you to tell me the French names of anything and everything I could think to point at! Steph, your brother wasn't quite as into it, but you kindly answered when you could. You probably thought your babysitter was nuts but you humored me. You have always been a kind soul and that's just one of the great characteristics that will serve you well on your recovery journey.
