Eat Whatever Ya Want
Gracie did a barium swallow test to evaluate her ability to swallow food, and the great news is that she was cleared to eat anything! Okay, maybe not 9-course meals just yet (hold off on sending her a bunch of food!) as Gracie is nervous about the process and will be self-restricting her food consumption I'm sure, but looking forward forward to smoothies and building to more over time!
Good news for Emily: she will start attending Arapahoe High School in Centennial, which is only about 7 miles south of Craig Hospital. It is also where the son of a friend from Bill's high school also attends, so she will have someone to help get her connected into the school. We traveled down several paths before making the decision to go there, and it's obviously a big change for Emily, but a relief to have it settled.
Thanks for all your love and support,
Debbie
