Gracie’s Garden Tour Moved to May 17th - Need Volunteers
This is just a quick post to let everyone know that Gracie’s Garden Tour has moved to Sunday, May 17th at 1pm, to give us a little more time to get things ready for the event. See posthope.org/gracefisher/calendar/1182/gracies-garden-tour for more details.
We need volunteers! Especially someone to supervise the silent and live auctions, but there are other areas where we can use the help! If you can help out, please contact Rayanna Cole-Dombroski at [email protected] or by cell 805 680-1463.
Stay in the know. Sign up to receive email notifications the moment new Journal entries are posted

Where will the tour be ?
Hi Paul, Sorry that we won't be available to help with Gracie's Garden Tour - it sounds lovely! We are taking our grandchildren on vacation then. Would you let us know if we use the same address for donations as the first information? Thank You for keeping us all updated. xo Nancy & Clint
Hello everyone, The Garden Tour will be at our home, Almenara, on Garden Street in the Upper East, near the Santa Barbara Mission. Almenara was built in 1904 for a woman from Newport, Rhode Island. It sits on one acre of formal gardens and has been featured on television and magazines. We have done many Garden and Home Tours for charitable causes in the 15 years we have lived here - Gardens of Garden Street, Pearl Chase, CALM, Loop de Coop, Lois Capps. In the last 3 years, because of the drought and an increasingly recalcitrant husband, I promised no more Garden tours. But as soon as we heard about Gracie, my daughter asked, "Mom, what can we do?" And I knew there would be one more garden tour. I promised my husband - this is absolutely, positively the last one. So please join us for an afternoon in the Gardens of Almenara as we celebrate Spring and Rejuvenation and Gracie's determination to heal and grow. Lynn Montgomery Below is the description of the event. You can got to posthope.org/gracefisher/calendar/1182/gracies-garden-tour for more details.
