Gracie, I heard your speech at church on Sunday when we celebrated you and the other grads. I can't really tell you how moved I was by your words and your voice. The peace and certainty that you spoke with, and the sound of conviction that your voice carries, are powerful. Whatever you imagine, I know it will happen. And we will all be surrounding you with our love and support, to help you make it happen. Love you, Alison
Incredibly touching speech. So glad I was able to hear it at graduation, along with everyone else. Missing you a ton, Gracie. <3
I love it that I get to hear Gracie speak. Wow. The only thing is is the youtube video is cut off.
Dear Gracie, I am sitting in my car outside the dental office listening to you because I couldn't wait until I got home to listen! I am so proud of you. While there are tears in my eyes I smile when I think of you deciding what you were going to say. Your words are an inspiration to all of us as you so courageously continue to fight the battle. You say it all. Lots of love . Carol
Grace, with an attitude and perspective like yours nothing is impossible. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey with us. Knowing your mom since Kindergarten, your talents and strength do not surprise me. I can see how all of her (and your dad too!) love and support have helped you to become, the talented, kind and resiliant young lady you are.
UTube cut it off? Loved hearing your voice. I don't know you personally, but I've been following your story. Stay strong.
Gracie, the audience was in awe of your inspirational words. WE gave you a standing ovation...the only one in the whole ceremony! Your class was so happy you were thee with them, even if only in voice. WE miss you!
For those that watched the original truncated video, I've fixed that and posted it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwqvO1MO3xY
Gracie, you are unbelievable. You have such a spirit, such a gift, through all this tragedy. I have a feeling you will do great things in this life.
Love your speech, very inspirational for high school graduated and us all!
Very moving words. I know few people, at any age, this inspiring. You have gained unique insights thus far, and I know you will have further insight in the future. Every time I have posted, I say I continue to think of you and your family all the time. That is because it is true, and I still do.
Grace, your speech is a beautiful gift to your graduating class and to all of us who support you. Your words and your life are an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
Gracie, Thank you for your beautiful speech which is an inspiration to your classmates and all those who know you. I loved hearing your voice after so many months. You are an amazing young woman with a bright future that holds endless possibilities. Please know we hold you in our prayers, thoughts and heart. Love you, Cindy, Doug and Natalie
Exceptional Gracie. You are inspiring not only to your classmates and school, but to anyone and everyone who knows you. Your human spirit can; and will; evoke positive change in others. You have already challenged people to review their own lives; to bless what they have, and think twice, before needing or wanting more. You are special Gracie; your family too. I am so very grateful to have met you all. Tons of love, ( Cathie SBSF)
Grace, your graduation speech was truly wonderful, with an inspiring message for all ages. Marian Winters forwarded the link on to our P.E.O. chapter so we could listen to it. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers for renewed health and strength. You already have grown in your heart more than many people do in a lifetime. Hugs from all the Chapter HD P.E.O. ladies!
Beautiful and inspiring speech Grace! May God bless you and strengthen you as your healing process continues. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
