Denver PUSH
Several months ago a group of four students from Columbine High School set out to create awareness of people affected by spinal cord injuries (as part of a larger program called the Big Idea Project). They first researched the issue, and then chose Gracie as the person they would specifically support as part of their activity. They raised money to fly her friend Colette over to Denver, and also to build a web site to rate local establishments for their wheelchair accessibility.
Here is a video they produced of their project, which includes Colette's visit to see Gracie:

On May 16th 2015, their project, named Denver PUSH, won the 1st Annual BIP State Competition, and the four students, Tyler Duffy, Dan DeGraaf, Megan Lacy and Kate Reader, were each awarded $1,500 in college scholarship money. You can read more about the award and the project in a story in the Columbine Courier.

Thank you Tyler, Dan, Megan and Kate for your amazing project, and for touching Gracie's life.
