Oxygen & More blood...

Hi Everyone, 

Sorry for the lack of an update yesterday and today - my son and I are sick with severe inner/middle ear infections & fevers. I have had a few people asking for an update, forgive me but it's easier to do in one place. 

Still. Waiting. They have an air ambulance ready and waiting for Ev, all we need is a BED in a hospital. It is frustrating. 

She has received another blood transfusion, and is back on some oxygen because she feels short of breath after sitting up, moving too much, or talking too long. 

Mom said last night she is trying to think of the grande picture - maybe Ev needs this extra day or two, to get stronger for her travel home...and that's why we are still waiting for a bed to be open.

I said Mom, you can be the positive optimist - and I will be the realist, slyly offering these people BRIBES! :) What do you have if you can't laugh, right?!

The insurance people didn't take me up on my offer of a bribe by the way. They say it is entirely up to the hospitals - that is 'who' we are waiting for. 

We will not rest very easily until Ev is home.
