Evie is a FIGHTER!

J, Quinton and I saw Auntie Ev today for the first time since she's been home. Our house has been full of virus, after infection, after virus for the past few weeks (and months); we didn't want to see her earlier and give her our germs.

She is looking quite well, she has colour in her face and can sit up in bed. She makes an effort to get up and move everyday, to try and gain her strength and build her muscles again.

She is determined to FIGHT this, and knows how much we need her here.

I can't say how good it was to see her, and to give her a hug. I have been waiting to give her that hug for too long! I gave her a manicure too! Very nice looking nails you have Evie! ;)

The doctor's are focusing on getting her well enough to be released to go home, THEN will focus on the multiple myeloma treatment on an outpatient basis after that. Evelyn has said she doesn't want to be kicked out of the hospital until she can be mobile on her own.

Our GUESS is another couple of weeks, though this is purely speculation.

Please keep the love and prayers going Evelyn's way, she deserves it! <3

So happy you're home Evie!!! Love you muchly!!
