The doctor did end up coming around yesterday after my morning post and said that Daddy is doing well. They expect to repeat the swallow test today, and she anticipates that he will pass it. If he does, the feeding tube in his nose will be removed and he can begin to eat normally again. Also, if he passes, Rehabilitation will come in to do an assessment and he may be moved to that department for a few days while he regains some strength.
Daddy did ask what would be done if he didn't pass, and she said they would give stimulation therapy a few more days and try again before considering the surgically implanted tube.
Doctor has been by this morning as well but Chris reports "nothing new" right now.
