Going Home

At 3:00 this morning we were called to come to the hospital.

Kristine has started her journey back home to the Lord.

Her lungs started to fill with fluid. It was her choice to not have any tubes or be connected to any machines.

They will be moving her to the Pallative Care floor where she will be more comfortable.
The family has gathered and surrounded her with love and our blessings to start her journey. Prayers for a peaceful journey home to the Lord.

Dear Kristine, May your journey be filled with peace and joy, knowing you will rest in our Savior's loving arms. Matthew 25:23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" Prayers and much love to your family as they let you go "home." It’s so hard to understand when God calls you back early because you did such a good job here on earth he needs you back. You are such a great loss to this community. I have known you since grade school. In school you were the exact same happy, kind, energetic fun loving woman you are today. Everyone’s friend. Never a mean word out of your mouth. You will be missed beyond measure. My heart goes out to the entire Pierce and Brassie families. May you find peace in knowing she has served and was just too good to stay here on earth 😓

Our family met the Pierce’s through hockey as many in the Rochester area did and we are all better for knowing her. There never was a time that the beaming smile wouldn’t lighten up a room. Kristine made this world a better place . God is lucky for now she sits at his side. She has served him well and was a good shepherd. The Green’s.
