GREAT NEWS
lyla has just come out of surgery and doing great. She had 4 procedures done so she is going to be a tired girl today. 1 of the surgeons has teenage girls so instead of doing the incision high on her chest where it is normally done he did it on her side at the bra line so it won't be visible when she wears her prom dress. What a sweet guy.

That is so sweet of the surgeon to put the port on her side! I tattooed my port sight with a colorful crown right before your wedding in Tulum, so I could wear a swimsuit. This may sound strange, but I grew to love my port. It got me through a year of cancer treatment - it is a very clever device! Aunt Susan

Oh the prom dress comment made me cry! Of course she won't want pesky scars on prom night from some surgery she had as an infant- so yesterday! :) You really do have great docs. -k
