Under the big foot...

Monty Python’s Big Foot came down from the sky a month ago and stomped me with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Unfortunately, that’s one of the cancers least responsive to treatment.

The better news is that it was detected early and might be amenable to surgical removal, which is the only effective treatment.

I'll be spending the next week or so having tests and procedures to determine if the cancer has metastasized (spread to other sites in my body besides the pancreas).
