Some backward progress
(David, posting with Marian's approval)
Marian's recovery has been slowed by a couple of problems. One, she has been hit by clinical depression, which makes everything harder. Then this past weekend she got hit by a recurrence of the C-Diff bug. This has led to at least a couple of days back in the familiar confines of Stanford hospital.
She reads everybody's good wishes and is warmed by all the good thoughts coming her way and thanks you all.

That's a bummer, but being hit by clinical depression is hardly surprising given what she's going through -- but that nasty bug coming back, to have that as well. Rats! All the warm thoughts I can generate are coming her way. She's strong and determined, and there are so many who are pulling for her. Just keep remembering that. Lots of hugs, Joan
June and I are very sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. We hope you can kick that infection and Dave can spring you out of there quickly.

Marian, Given life right now, a happy thought might be hard to find, so I am sending you one: You and me dancing our butts off! The image of that is making me laugh, hope you at least crack a smile! Get better! You are tough than a bug! (old-ladies-dancing-charleston-1926-CPJ477.jpg) Nancy
