Meghan received her first round of chemo yesterday.  She did exceptionally well all the way up to the end.  Then she began to feel very sick.  As a precaution, and because of the long distance from the hospital to home, the doctor decided it would be in her best interst to remain in the hospital overnight.  We were due back the next morning by 10 am anyway for her second session of chemo and again on Friday for a third session.  Today the doctors decided they would keep her in the hospital until after her next treatment scheduled for tomorrow morning.

All day Meghan has been feeling very nausious and they are trying to control it with medications.  We were able to get her out of bed for a short time to go over to the teen room to hang out for a bit early this afternoon. Since our return back to her room she has been napping.

The plan going forward is that every 21 days she will receive chemo on three consecutive days for 4 sessions.
