Yeah!!  We are home again.  After doing the math, out of the last 15 days we have spent 11 days at UMMC.  During last weeks stay we were in the A wing and this week we were in the B wing.  This morning the A wing had to be evacuated due to plumbing problems, which were taken care of quickly and in the end only one patient has to be given a new room.  Glad we were in the B wing this time around :)

When Meghan woke up this morning she was feeling so much better and was able to eat for the first time since Wednesday at lunch.

Meghan received a third dose of chemo today and did well with it.  Now she is not due back till next Wednesday for another dose.  Starting tomorrow we will have to begin giving her shots at home for the next 14 days.  This is not something we would have signed up for, but it is necessary.  By time this is all said and done we will probably be professionals.  After Wednesday she will have till after the holidays before repeating the process.  Looking foward to getting through next Wednesday we are looking forward to enjoying the holidays.

Meghan has enjoyed reading all the posts.  Thank you for all your words of encouragement.  With your help she will get through this feeling strong and loved.

Our hearts go out to all the families and children in Conneticut who were affected by today's traggic event.  Words cannot convey our feelings.  Everyday we have with our loved ones is precious and should not be taken for granted.
