March 3rd

Hi everyone

I am super happy to report Chemo is history, no more, finished, out of here. Which also means the dreaded dailey shot will soon be history. 3 more to go, so by Wednesday that horrible feeling will gone. 

Meghan is still feeling the last round and everyday Meghan is doing much better. Today was her day to cook the family diner and she did so and it was good. Meghan took the easy way out though but where happy she was able to cook. Menu was pizza bites & canned corn. Her taste buds never fail us. We love to see her eating.

Meghan has a lot of physical recovery ahead of her, the past 3 months of not feeling her best has soften her. Meghan will see a therapist to get those young muscles of hers to wake up. Next week the days get longer so anyone who wants  to grab her and take her for a walk I'm sure Meghan would enjoy it. The March 23rd fun couldn't be coming at a better time.

Next phase for Meghan is Radiation therapy, the next weeks will be prep time and the actual treatment begins March 25th. Treatment will be consective days and end around April 11th. In our conversation with the radiolgist we talked about the finish line. We are excited to get there.

I asked Meghan for a closing to todays update......"My Back Hurts"......her exact words. But she is getting better.
