10/10 - 10/13
Saturday through Tuesday was tough for Cal. Her headaches are bad and she is having a tough time sleeping with anxiousness about being away from home. With each day she has been improving! Today I watched her get right out of her bed and grab a lemon squeezer. I smiled and said "omg! you're doing great!"
The BEST news of all is that she is coming home a week early and will now be coming home October 21st 🙌🏼🎉We are just one week away! We couldn't be happier to have our girl come home and be home with her family. Starting next week when she returns home she will begin an outpatient therapy 3 times per week. The emotions that we feel are indescribable! It's almost been six weeks since our baby girl had the accident and we just cannot wait to have her right next to us ❤️
We are asking for continued prayers for Callahan's recovery and to send her tons of posts on here to give her extra support and encouragement during the next part of her journey as she comes home and gets acclimated 🙏🏼 She said "I cannot wait to have caesar salad and lemon pasta with chicken!" She is already giving us her menu. That's our Cal!
Again we cannot thank you enough for all the love and support you have shown our family, we are forever grateful 🥰❤️🙌🏼
