Hello, My Wonderful Friends and Family.
Quick update: This (#4) was NOT my favorite chemo session. It’s been a rough two weeks. Better this week--but still more tired and cold neuropathy. Plus puffiness—I hate puffiness. (Bet you were hoping for a picture. Couldn’t do it. Sorry.) But…I was told that would happen. Still don’t like it. But, it means the chemo is working. Yay!
Plus, great news: I had my CT Scan today. The doctor just called. (I have an EXCELLENT Oncologist—he didn’t wait until Monday—Thank you, Dr. Schneider!). There are NO new tumors and my present ones have SHRUNK 75%.
75%! Amazing! God is truly merciful and the Great Healer (Ps. 103:3) And you, my friends, have been incredible. Thank you for praying and producing wonderful results (“…The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (James 5:16)).

Yay, God!! Yay, you! Yay, Dr. Schneider! Thank you for keeping us posted. I know it isn't fun and I know you are making the best of a bad situation. We love you so, so much and are so happy to hear that your tumors are shrinking. Don't know if you heard...just saw it today on FB, but our friend Sheldon Monson just found out that he may be facing the same battle you are...prayers needed for him and Joette. I know you would want to know. Happy Last DUB! Love to you all!

Your wonderful attitude and outlook seems inversely proportional to how your body feels continuing on with the treatments. So let's continue to pray the body can catch up to the attitude, and it won't be such a physical ordeal as you fight through the upcoming months. (I think you mentioned you are 1/3 of the way through the chemo treatments?) And no pictures? Come on! There's countless ways to avoid any puffy shots by showcasing your gloves in various jazz-hands poses. Love to you and your fabulous family :)
Wonderful news to start out the last DUB! So glad to hear that the tumors are shrinking (almost typed shirking) and that you are hanging in there despite the effects of the chemo. Give you mom a hug from me and ask her to hug you for me as well. :)

So good to hear. We will keeping praying for a 100% reduction. We love you all and you all have magnificent Holy Days, 2 in a row to go along with the double sabbaths last week! We start off the Holy Dy season with a jamb packed 8 days!

The update came today in the announcements. My mother got colon cancer and died at age 90.5 but NOT from the cancer. A prayerful friend of much faith promised me that my mother would not die of cancer. God does heal and only he can. I tried to call Starlit many times. No results. PLEASE have her call me.
This is just terrific, Sarah. Yes, the side effects of chemo are no fun, that is for sure. Lisa lost all of her hair during her treatment -- but it all came back. Such great news about the tumors being on the run. God is walking you through the valley, one step at a time, and sometimes the steps are slow and painful. Eventually, you will be back on top of Mount Rainier. What a view that will be.
