You are a-m-a-z-i-n-g Sarah! I have for the longs time avoided reading your post as well as you on occasions because I have never been able to face illness openly without breaking apart. For some reason I viewed it this morning and I must say I truly admire your candidness and humor, especially with a disease that has a history of not even being called by its full name (the big C) and is known for its drab and dread. God has blessed you with the gift of wit to help comfort you and others in this time. Continued prayers to you and your loving family.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
Thanks for keeping us updated and I'm glad you made it through the surgery successfully. You continue to be in our prayers and thoughts my brave friend.
