100% Shannon
Got to spend some time with Shannon in the post-op recovery room. She is her usual hilarious, feisty self! Her eyes are a bit swollen from the surgery, but she's awake and eating a lot of ice chips (and definitely ready for the tuxedo'd waitstaff to serve her 4-star dinner).
The hospital is pretty full so they don't know when she will get a room, but that should happen tonight. Her current estimated release date is Friday or Saturday.
On a personal note, I know that all of Shannon's family really appreciates the outpouring of support and well-wishes. It's been a beautiful thing to see.
