No surgery today

They're assessing if he may be able to go home and come back for the surgery which should be "early next week".  They'll get him scheduled and then we'll see. All 3 teams have to agree he could even go home so they just wanted to see our thoughts about the possibility.

And I'm tired of hearing "I'm sorry" from people about "miscommunications" and lack of communication. But I'm not gonna let myself get upset. I just want him better.

They have miscommuncated about keeping us in the loop on stuff, not telling us stuff sometimes, and telling us surgery people were coming and they didn't. And the mess up with the biopsy schedule last week. Surgery hasn't miscommuncated anything so I'm not upset with them. Basically if he had one team it wouldn't happen but he has 3 different teams.  They just now today told us about these patient advocacy people if we want which helps coordinate the teams coordinating.  I said after 11 nights here it's a little late for that 🙄

But his care hasn't been affected and they've taken good care of him. Especially the nurses so we are grateful for that.
