6/15/16. We're outta here (for now)! ✌🏼

We get to go home sometime today! 👍🏼

X-ray this morning looked the same regarding amount of fluid in the lung, etc. but all vitals are stable and fevers controlled (hope they stay that way), and they feel we are ok to go home for now.  We will still have our PICC line in so we will have to take very good and safe care of that and we've received proper instructions and treatment for it. All medications will be oral at home.

We'll be back Friday for an X-ray and check in on all things at the oncology clinic, but otherwise we should be able to stay at home until they get all of the pending information and tests back to hopefully finally be able to diagnose and determine a final treatment plan. Our main doctor/team (HEMOC) wants us scheduled for surgery before we leave so that we are on the books for follow-up, and she'll be closely monitoring everything including current treatment in the meantime while she waits for all of the pending info and tests.

After 3 weeks in a hospital bed we will take any small victory, and going home is definitely a victory right now.  As previously shared, we still have a long road ahead that has yet to be determined. Of course these dealings with tumors, lungs, etc. is scary and right now unknown, but we are optimistic and keeping the faith that God has a master plan for Cole and will be with us for whatever our journey may be.
