July 16, 2016 ~ Surprise Visit

We've received such amazing support throughtout all of this, and tried to do a good job taking care of ourselves along the way too.  A definite boost to my own mental health came from my other "sons" and work friends visiting the hospital and taking me to lunch! ❤️

I knew a handful were coming to visit but I certainly didn't expect two bus loads! I cried, of course, but it meant so much to me, and our family, for the surprise visit.  They brought Cole some very special gifts which were fantastic (not sure daddy thought so since they weren't purple), but Cole thought it was very cool.

Otherwise the weekend should be pretty uneventful, fingers crossed, since pathology doesn't work weekends and we're waiting for the second opinions to come back.  So we hang tight for now..
