ROCKS
After three days of walking, we took a well-deserved "mileage break" and went car touring. We ventured into the thick fog of the Bodmin Moor, an area recognized as a World Heritage Site which honors the history and importance of mining. We saw a lot of rocks -- Rocks in 3 big circles, Neolithic rocks piled into a burial chamber, abandoned mineral mines, and rocks that look like, well, I'll let you use your imagination.....
Then we continued north to Tintagel Castle on the North Coast, the legendary home of King Arthur, and the real home of the largest Dark Age settlement in the UK. A spectacular setting, rock castles perched on rocky cliffs. It was a great day.
I wish everyone going through chemo could have this much love and support. I am sure that would increase the survival rate! Hugs to all,
MK

You are one beautiful woman! Love you, Jim
MacLean and I visited Tintangel years ago...will have to tell you about out visit when you get home to SB. Am glad you are able to enjoy so many of the beautiful sights. My favorite sight is seeing your and Bruce's smile! Hugs ME
Hey Michelle, Doesn't look like you'll be getting a sunburn:) LOL How are your feet feeling? I can teach Bruce how to give a pedicure if you like. Kary O'Brien sends her love. I did a 15K Independence Day run. There were two highlights. 1.) I saw some friends that I haven't seen in a few months. They were walking their dog on the route. As I ran past they shouted out, "we're following you on Noozhawk" 2.) A friend and fellow racer was coming toward me after the turn around and held out his hand to high five me. This was when my heart really started pumping and I really started sweating because I am known to whiff the most stable of high fives in glamorously embarrassing ways. Not this time. Success was mine, I hit his hand straight on! Here's to celebrating the little victories. Check out this youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5yOW0mPZJE Wait for what Kaia says at the end, it is too cute. Sending a blast of CA positivity your way my dear dear friend. Love, Allison
A journey into fresh air, big rocks, and grand vistas is the best healing and immunity boost you could get! Better than cake, Cherie
Love the "rocks"! Only been to Avebury tho'. These are outstanding! Kathy
Glad you are out and about. Gorgeous coast! Keep breathing in that fresh air and exercising those muscles (body and brain). XO
