Yesterday was just a waiting day. Cory met with the dietician and she said he's doing great with his plan for when he leaves the hospital. We went for walk in the healing garden again and Cory went outside for the first time in over a week!

I wanted to update everyone on where he stands medically. The answer is, we don't know. 

Cory has been up and walking around since the day we went into the ER, a feel like a lot of people have been happy that he's moving around, walking, and seemingly fine. That's actually the way he's been since day one (with the exception of when he has had procedures). Everything about Cory is fine, except that his heart is failing. When we got to the ER his resting heart rate was 130. With the help of medications it went down to about 120. Its now hovering around 115 but has stayed that way since last week. Its not getting better, its not getting worse. Its just... the same.

The doctors we met last week are all off for the weekend, so we have different doctors that seem to just be maintaining his status. Hopefully the main doctor will be in tomorrow and we can get more answers. 

They meet as a group every Thursday to discuss treatment and candidates for LVADs and transplants, but there has been hints that he won't be in the hospital at that point, but we don't know. I've also been told that a standard hospital stay is five days. Today is day eleven.
