Merry Christmas!

To quote Derek, "this was the best Christmas EVER!" We had a great day. Blessed by my Associated Eye Care family more than we could ever have dreamed. We saw some old friends at church which was nice. And finished with a wonderful day at home with no Dr appointments.

Derek did all of his walking today(except for on the ice into and out of church) without his walker. We only had 2 times he ended up on the floor, but there were no injuries and they both ended with him laughing at the fall. His short term memory is proving to be a little lapsing as they had said it would. That may be permanent. But, all in all, it was a good day with some pretty awesome memories made. Here's another successful holiday in the Young book! But then any day we are together is a pretty awesome day.
