removal day

Today, Monday, is the day of Angela's surgery.  Please pray for her. Please pray for the surgeons who are operating on her. Please pray for all the nurses and support teams that will assist and support Angela all the way through this procedure.  Please pray that the medicine given to her will work as intended.  Please pray for a full and fast recovery.

 The surgery is this morning and is scheduled for about 5.5 hours.  She will stay at least one night at the hospital.  Please pray for an easy surgery and a swift and easy recovery.  We trust that Jesus will be watching over her and our family through all this.  I will post an update as soon as I am able on Angela's condition here.  So keep an eye out for an update later in the day.  I assume Angela will not able to talk very well after the surgery.

 I wanted to thank my Aunt Julie for offering to watch Derek and Kate while I am at the hospital with Angela.  I want to thank Julie's boss, Dana, who kindly gives Julie the time off so she can help out.  

Thank you to everyone who has blessed my family so much over the past few months.  I realistically will never be able to thank everyone personally, but I can say thank you and God bless you here.  If you have done anything, be it seemingly big or small, I want to say thank you. 

I never thought I would be in a situation like this.  Be sure to tell your husband or wife or kids that you love them, you just never know when times like this will happen.  I don't even own a microwave.
