Still super sleepy
Hello All,
An update about Derek.
He is still super sleepy and sleeping a large part of the day. We ask him pretty regularly if he is comfortable and by the grace of the Almighty, he has no pain.
I am not sure what to say, but he is tired and comfortable. He is happy and at peace.

Thank you Zell for the update. I am crying and also very happy that you have created this site to keep us informed. I would love to come and see him. I get home Monday from my grad studies. My mom is wearing his shirt now and every time I see her. We love him dearly.

Thank you for the update and for the picture. Ed and I continue to pray daily for Derek. We are grateful that he is at peace and without pain. I see he is still holding the cross. What a blessed little boy!
Our prayer has always been "Thy will be done". I guess God wants Derrick with no pain & at peace. His will is always best. We hold you in our hearts with love & prayer. Thank You for the information. Love Leroy & sandy

Thank you for the update. I don't know how to respond, but to continually thank God for giving us the assurance that He loves Derek more than any of us. May our Lord God Almighty continue to give His peace and love to Derek and his dad and mom!
