Surgery day
we woke up at 4 something and checked in at UW Medical Center at 5. Eden looks beautiful today and check in went smoothly. The team here is both highly competent and nice. She had a pre-op MRI, met the nurses and anesthesiologist and by 7:35, she was on her way to the OR.
Surgery should conclude sometime around noon. Maybe before, maybe after.
Today we are focused on fighting, optimism, and good spirits. We all know how strong Eden is in both mind and spirit. We both look forward to spending time with family and friends as Eden recovers, and we'll all have fun and enjoyment. The outpouring of love, tenderness, and caring has been so welcome. Thank you,

Hi Dan, I'm an old Amgen friend of Eden's. We got hired together in Seattle and trained together. I remember when she was excited to tell me about your buying the house in Issaquah and then later the move to CA. I have two daughters as well. Prayers are with you both. Knowledge is power.
