SLC Bound, again.
We have finally heard from Eric's care team, and he will be officially starting treatment on Tuesday. He has some other appointments on Monday, so we will be driving to SLC on Sunday. We have had a good week or so at home to rest and recover. We were fortunate to be able to spend some time with family and friends; some time on the trails; and were able to just enjoy some down time.
We think we will be in SLC for 6-7 weeks this time and will be saying at a friend of a friend's house. We are looking forward to being able to explore the Wasatch mountains and everything else that SLC has to offer in between appointments. If anyone has any good food, favorite things to do, or favorite trails, please put suggestions in the comments and we will add those suggestions to our list.
We continue to be grateful to all of you who continue to help us and support us through this journey. We couldn't do this without each of you. Thank you so much for showing us all of your love and support. We really appreciate it.

Back in 2003, we stayed at a Ski resort in Park City. During warmer months, you are probably aware that the ski lifts are used to take hikers higher up the mountain to different trails. Also, directly in the enter of downtown SLC, you can walk around the grounds of the Mormon church and also possibly do some geniology searches if you are looking for a cultural eperience and a good distraction, depending on covid safety protacols currently in place.
Safe Travels!
