10 months

It's hard to believe but on February 4th, we cruised past the 10 month mark. It is really crazy to think about this battle and that it has lasted 10 months so far but on the other hand it feels much longer than 10 months. Crazy time distortion.

Eric started Avastin IV infusion treatment last week and so far is tolerating it very well. His headaches have seemingly settled down-most likely a steroid affect! Better living through chemistry! He has been able to resume daily hikes, bikes, and a few runs which has been super awesome for his mental health and overall well-being.

The next couple of weeks will be fairly busy weeks for us....the Sullivan Siblings are converging on Helena (watch out Helena friends)! Followed very quickly by a visit from his parents. Sprinkled amongst the joy and chaos of family visits are the treatments, various medical appointments, and work.  Eric is already planning on dragging his dad to another class!

Eric will also be starting to wear the Optune device this coming week. Optune is an intriguing treatment option that we have decided that would be good for Eric to try. We will know more next week once the company rep flies here to set us up with the device and we complete the patient training. But for anyone who is curious, a quick google search can show you all about it. Better living through physics!

I think that is all for now! We will try to provide some updates the next few crazy weeks as we progress through more treatments and enjoy the family chaos!
