Gary is Home ~
As I write I don't really know where to start. The last week has been a blur and a crash course in Cancer. We are blessed by the love and support we have received and we want you all to know how much it means to us. Each morning Gary gets up and checks his Posthope website. Your comments and encouraging words do more then you can imagine for our whole family. Our children have been champions and we are so proud of each one. Looking back over the last six months of our lives we see the hand of God preparing us for as Gary said, A time like this."
Our current prayer requests are that we will have peace when we meet Gary's physicians, rest and peace for Gary, and most of all wisdom, clarity and direction while making life saving decisions regarding treatment options.
Blessings ~ Dawn

Where does one begin? How to encourage in a life-and-death struggle. Glad you are home, always feels better to be around familiar things at times like these. Of COURSE we pray for you, as we have since we heard. Give it all you got, and at the end of the day, give it all over to the Lord, who never gives us second best.
We love you so much and pray for you constantly. We have to rest in knowing that our Great God loves you more than we can comprehend.

A friend posted this article this morning on FB about how Johns Hopkins is now revealing how critical diet is to treating cancer. It is by far the most succinct and easy-to-follow article I have read about what changes we can all make immediately to fight off cancer, wausaunews.wordpress.com/2014/01/18/big-hospital-finally-telling-the-truth-about-cancer-johns-hopkins/
You and your family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so thankful for the heritage of faith we have and that we can trust our Great Physician to work all things together for good. Thank you for sharing specific requests - I'm praying for you to have the peace that passes all understanding (I once heard that defined as the peace that doesn't make sense!).
