The End of Another Day ~
It is 7:17pm and I am home. Gary is resting at the hospital were he has received good care and today his first dose of Chemotherapy. Gary will be receiving three doses over the next three weeks, one dose a week. Gary is getting stronger each day but we have a long way to go.
This morning started with the Pastors of Twin Lakes Church anointing and praying with Gary, me and his parents. Within minutes Gary was receiving his Chemotherapy. There have been no side effects to report and we learned today that the side affects usually show up later in the treatment. We then had a visit from the Local Cancer Society who answered many of our questions. Along with all of this we had our family visiting, encouraging and helping with Gary's care.
Needless to say, we are exhausted, grateful, humbled by all of you and your coming along side of us, lifting us up to the Lord, fasting and supporting us financially. We are in the middle of a battle, we cannot and have not had to fight alone.
Thank you for supporting Team Barton win the battle against cancer.
We love you and good night.

It was good to see you last week. Always praying for Gary and for you, too.
Thinking of you and praying for you both. So glad you are living where you want to be and you have the continued love and support from your family there. God bless you and your entire medical team.
By His stripes we are healed...for Gary
haven't stopped, won't stop (praying that is! :D)
