Harvesting the stem cells

Joe traveled to Barnes 1-2 times per day for injections to make his stem cells leave his bone marrow. These shots caused soreness in the chest and legs mostly.
It took three days of six hour dialysis sessions (about 8 am - 2 pm) to harvest over 5 million stem cells.
