Today is the 14th day after the start of chemo which means it is time for the next bone marrow extraction. At 1:30 this afternoon they gave me some feel good drugs, had me lay on my stomach and proceeded to drill into my hip bone to get some bone marrow. It really is not that bad. There is a lot of pressure but not a lot of pain.
I am starting to lose track, but I think today is day four of my white blood cell count being at zero. My energy level continues to drop a little each day. Part of the problem is food does not taste good and my stomach seems to have shrunk. I keep putting food down because I have to, but it is a task.
I still go for regular walks around the hospital to keep up with the exercise. Exercising is always good for your no matter the situation. My hair is finally falling out at an increased pace. Right now it looks like a cat slept on my fleece all night. I am planning on shaving it all off tomorrow.

Kevin...sounds like all is proceeding via the best possible path, which none of us doubted! Keep it up. And I'm going to shave my head in your honor :)
You do know there are easier ways to join the bald head club. Good thing you have a great source for hats….
