Today will be a quick post of good news. My white blood cell count doubled from 30 yesterday to 60 today. If it continues to double each day I should be able to go home this Sunday or Monday. The other positive is my platelet numbers are now climbing each day too, which is another good sign.
Karen is a little concerned about taking me home, because the nurses will not be coming with us. As I get stronger it will be easier. It will work out.

Such great news! Thank you for the post Kevin. I can understand Karen's concerns. I'm thinking there must be some provision for in-home care during your recuperation. Got my fingers and toes crossed for you both!
