How did we get here?
In 2017/2018 Kristine received her certifications as a Life Coach, Recovery Coach, Holistic Cancer Coach, Certified HeartMath trainer, and will graduate from the School of Functional Medicine this spring. Armed with this knowledge and combined with her passion for people, she launched her business, Next Steps Within which was immediately met with success and provided Kristine with much joy.
In late January Kristine was admitted to the hospital with severe undiagnosed pain in her abdomen and lower back. After many tests and procedures, it was determined that she has a rare cell type known as Neuroendocrine Carcinoma located in her liver. It had masked itself from her immune system thus making it very difficult to diagnose.
Kristine weighed all the options from her toolbox of functional medicine and the incredible integrative doctors she has come to trust and has decided to a complete a course of treatment through them and their expertise. She is doing this from the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Anyone who knows Kristine knows that she has a zest for life and limitless passion for those around her. This, the support of her family, friends and most of all her faith in God will most assuredly serve her well as she embarks on this healing journey.
She asks for your prayers and for you to continue to live your lives with “Power, Purpose and Joy”
