REHAB Day 1
This place is pretty great. My one complaint was no wifi, but my British neighbor down the hall offered me his password to his router. Now I'm pretty content with this place, and I'm excited to get to know the doctors, nurses, and patients here.
In other news, I'm getting more and more excited for my most memorable birthday party since when I celebrated turning four by dressing up like Mary Poppins and riding the carousel at Burger King. Please join my Facebook event and pray along with me this Tuesday. If any Beaverton, OR friends want a place to pray, my friend Shirley has promised cupcakes to those wanting to celebrate my birthday an hour early - 6-8pm Pacific time. Find her event on Facebook for more information.
Praise the Lord I got to wear real clothes for the first time in almost two weeks! As you continue to pray, my most immediate request is that the staff would be able to quickly find an effective pain medicine schedule.

yippee - wifi!! So glad you have a friendly British neighbor! Hugs and prayers for today!
Praying for you as always and for the specific requests, thanks for posting those. You are an inspiration. xoxo
So, it does not sound like a bad start. I notice you did not say much about the rehab itself - did you start a regime yet? It is a privilege to be praying for you! Keep shining!
May God continue to give you strength and endurance!!
Hi Laura. Not many days in our house start without you being the first person we pray for, and we continue to pray for you and your parents throughout the day. Asked God to encourage your Dad today as he has to head back to the USA; and strengthen your Mom, as she carries on here. May all you need be poured into you 3 from your Source which is Christ - how wonderful that it does not have to come from you! hugs!!
