I put my pants on two legs at a time
To be fair, I'm pretty passive in the activity while two nurses put my pants on both legs at the same time. I'm not a superhero. I'm even a little uncomfortable with the idea of being an ordinary hero, but I guess this is one of those "greatness thrust upon them" moments Shakespeare was talking about. It makes me a little embarrassed to know all eyes are on me when I have a day like yesterday where I was completely exhausted all day and didn't even have any scheduled therapy. Now I'm overwhelmed for the multiple activities scheduled for today which amounts to about three hours of work total - far from heroic in my mind.
However, I've always been conscious of people watching me because I'm different - most Christians are conscious of this. So on overwhelming and exhausting days, my prayer is that I still provide an accurate reflection of my Savior to those who are watching. I still crave your prayers for strength and energy alongside the prayers that I'm providing a clear reflection of Jesus in the midst of my exhaustion and pain.

praying for you this day…. Diane Kraines
Goodmorning Laura! I will pray often for you today for the specific ways you've requested. It's OK to be a 'tired hero'...Jesus was as well at times. tight hugs from Helen
We were looking at the beginning of Ephesians in our small group yesterday. We noted the phrase, 'to the praise of His glory' is used 3 times in verses 3-14. Good pharse to reflect on. How does that play out in our lives. What does it mean? I'll let you chew on that a little. :)
Today will eventually pass, and you can see another day of grace. Praying for strength and outlook today.
So encouraged by you. ... so is Nitsuj ;)
Thank you for the uodate, Laura. It helps so much to know what you are facing each day so I can pray specifically. I know God will give you strength to meet the challenges of your work and to be His witness. You are such an inspiration! May His angels lift you up and help you today through the hard stuff. ♥♥♥
Praying.
Lori Crawford Praying for these requests, today!
I read this week about Gideon and his men, after their amazing battle with the Midianites (Gideon and 300 men against their thousands) and the pursuit that followed the initial battle. Judges 8:4 says, "Then they came to the Jordan and crossed over, weary yet pursuing." We know you must get weary, yet you are still pursing God in your days and working hard to "cross over" this physical and spiritual Jordan that is before you. Praying for Him to provide you strength, energy and endurance for each day, coupled with joy, rest and assurance that He is faithful to complete this good work that He has begun in you. love you dear friend, Karin
Love you much, much, much. Your Granny
