Garni goes to rehab
I got to have a day of rest from physical therapy today and had a belated 'family' party with my Garni housemates. My British friend Joe commented that I had quite the group show up to see me and pointed out that a strong network of friends is very important in my recovery.
I've consistently heard that the support system a patient has is critical to his or her recovery. I have an incredible support system that includes you reading this and commenting, those around the world praying for me and posting fart jokes on my Facebook, and the wonderful friends who come to visit me and make me laugh.
I love every comment, story, verse, and encouragement. Thank you for continuing on this journey with me.

Very hard for me to call you a woman and give up that memory of you in those sunglasses or sitting with my grandkids on Aunt Jo's porch, but a special young woman you are and wonderful friends you have!
