August 20, 2014

We are going into day 3 of the second round of chemo and day 3 in the hospital.  Will get to go home tomorrow.  Overall Meghan is handling it all much better this round than the first round. Though the nauseousness continues to be a struggle.  They continue to try and find the best meds to help her through this.  They also had to slow the drip on one of the chemo drugs that she gets for 3 days due to the side affects.

Last week was overall a good week.  She was feeling much better and even went for a 1 mile walk with me and her brother Michael one evening.

We continue to just take it all one day at a time and do what we can to help Meghan feel better.  After this 21 day round PET scans will be done and will determine if additional rounds of chemo will be needed or if they will begin the bone marrow transplant.  I hope we do move on to the bone marrow transplant so that this will all be a memory much sooner.

Thank you for your continued support.

Have a Blessed Day.

Michele

Meghan I continue to pray for positive results to the treatment! You are an amazing young lady, I have never met you in person but am continually amazed by your strength and positive attitude during some really tough days. You are an inspiration to me! Remember God is the great healer - if you ask for it and believe in Him, He will answer prayer!! Many Blessing to you and the family! I pray for continued strength for all of you as you make this journey together. God Bless
