Change of Plans |6-13-16|
We are so appreciative of everyone's love pouring out to us today. I apologize for 2 posts in one day.
Things took a slight turn right before Mike was going to head into the OR. Upon reviewing his labs from the morning they discovered that his platelets were low, his magnesium & potassium were really low, and his electrolytes were all out of whack.
Dr. Vee came in and discussed this with us, telling us that he wasn't comfortable doing the surgery with all of this going on. It could put a potential stressor on his heart and things could go badly with Mike feeling so poorly.
He suggested that Mike be admitted, get some meds started to help his body out, and then schedule the surgery for first thing Wednesday morning.
So thas the game plan, now. Mike got moved up to a room in the hospital and he had been sleeping all day. I am glad he is going to start feeling better (hopefully!) by tomorrow, and then feel even stronger going into the OR on Wednesday.
What a ride we've been on today. And the previous 451 days... But who's counting?

Geez no wonder Mike was feeling so bad. I bet he will feel some better by tomorrow (positive thinking). I am praying this biopsy will be the one that gets things on track. Thoughts and prayers for all of you every day. Thanks for the post advising of the change. Had been thinking of you guys a lot today, wondering how things went.
