We're Finally HOME! |6-20-16|

This has been the longest week of our lives. 

We just got home from the hospital, and I couldn't be more relieved, happy, or exhausted. 

Mike continued to spike fevers a couple times a day throughout the end of the week and the weekend. The doctors were determined they were going to find a source. I felt like this has been his normal state of being since he's had lymphoma. 

I broke down to one of the nurses telling her that it was giving me flashbacks to the two previous times we've went through Mike being tested for everything under the sun, only to come up empty handed except for the lymphoma diagnosis. 

It was hard to be in the hospital on Father's Day. Mike just wanted to be with the kids so bad. Molly & Lucy did get to come down for a little bit, which definitely helped.

At the moment we are waiting for Reid to get home,  and the anticipation is almost too much to handle!! I wanted to give a quick shout out to my mom for taking Reid this past week, and no doubt, spoiling him rotten. Also, a HUGE thank you to Jamie Hiltibrand for babysitting the little guy all week while my parents were at work. The support around us is so amazing. 

Mike is getting a quick nap in, and I think I might try to, as well. 

Looking forward to resting today and tomorrow, and then we meet with the transplant team on Wednesday to discuss the biopsy results and hopefully the next plan. 

Hoping for good news, and a successful plan to come! 

Well, Reid just came in the door! And he is already snuggled up as close to Daddy as he could get. Love that boy!
