After a long 2 days of sitting in the BMT Apheresis clinic, and 30 cell generating shots later, they were able to collect almost 3 million stem cells! 

He has enough saved for his autologous stem cell transplant now, and we are so happy!

This morning starts his twice a day radiation treatments. I'm getting much better at getting up with the 4:30 alarm and getting out the door by 5:30. 

Yesterday the girls spent the afternoon and evening with two very special women, and to see the joy in their faces after that time together was priceless. Our hearts are so full of gratitude that nothing else could bring us down. 

I know Mike is pretty nervous since he hasn't had radiation before, but I think he will handle this like everything else that has been thrown our way. He is so strong. 

He put a snapchat up last night that showed all of the scars on his body with the caption, and I will paraphrase, "Dear cancer, you have left a lot of scars on the inside and outside of my body, but I'm going to beat you."

Cancer has changed him, and we both agree, it's mostly been for the better. Our eyes and hearts see what the truly important things are in our life.

I love this man.
